Most professional and high school ball parks
were built to the confines that the city
offered them. Because of that, each ballpark
has different measurements for their outfield
fencing.
For example in The Major
Leagues you have ballparks with very different
outfield sizes:
Boston's Fenway:
310 in Left - 420 in Center - 302 in Right
Detroit's Comerica Park:
345 in Left - 420 in Center - 330 in Right
Chicago's Wrigley Field:
355 in Left - 400 in Center - 353 in Right
Houston's Minute Maid Park:
315 in Left - 435 in Center - 326 in Right
Outfield dimensions vary
with the venue. Each park however maintains
the strict standards of 90 feet between
the bases, 60' 6" from the Pitchers
Mound to Home Plate and 127' 3 3/8"
from Home to Second Base!
