History:
Internationally recognized as the umbrella ice hockey organization in the United Kingdom, Ice Hockey UK was formed to take over from the responsibilities of the British Ice Hockey Association. Ice Hockey UK is affiliated with the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) and is accountable to the IIHF for the effective management and promotion of the sport in UK; and in the implementation of the IIHF rules and by-laws.
