Overview:
A non-profit organization
based in Manassas, VA, the International
Senior Softball Association (ISSA) primarily
aims to establish national goals for senior
softball activities. ISSA also coordinates
and develops amateur senior softball activity
to foster productive working relationships
among other senior softball organizations;
and assists organizations and persons concerned
with senior sports in the development of
amateur athletic programs and other events
that foster the special comradery among
seniors. ISSA also assists in providing
solutions to conflicts and disputes among
athletes, coaches, trainers, managers, administrators,
or officials. ISSA likewise promotes a gender-balanced
environment, as it encourages and provides
assistance to amateur athletic activities
for senior women.
