Federation Internationale de Volleyball
The Federation Internationale de Volleyball, also known as the FIVB, is the governing body of all forms of volleyball and beach volleyball worldwide. As the sport’s governing body, FIVB manages, plans, markets, and conducts promotional activities aimed at developing volleyball as one of the world’s major sports.
FIVB’s mission includes: the staging of world class international events; development of quality programs and resources; and the application of modern management principles. FIVB aims to accomplish its mission with the help of its 217 affiliate federations worldwide.
